RUNJIAN (M) SDN. BHD. seeks a capable HR professional to drive local recruitment in Johor, ensuring effective workforce planning and onboarding support.
You will manage payroll, EPF/SOCSO/EIS contributions, and ensure compliance with Malaysia’s Employment Act 1955 while handling foreign worker EP applications and related government procedures.

Recruitment & Workforce Planning: Manage the full recruitment process for local employees in Johor, including sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding follow-up. Develop effective local recruitment channels to support the company’s workforce planning and localization needs.
Employee Relations & HR Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysia’s Employment Act 1955 and other applicable employment regulations. Manage employment contracts, working hours, overtime, leave, and termination processes, while handling employee enquiries, grievances, and workplace disputes professionally.
Payroll & Statutory Contributions: Manage monthly payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely calculation of salaries and statutory contributions. Handle submissions and payments for EPF, SOCSO, and EIS, and provide support to employees on payroll and benefits-related enquiries.
Foreign Employee & Work Permit Management: Support the recruitment and onboarding of foreign employees, including Employment Pass (EP) applications, renewals, and related government procedures. Follow up on local succession planning and internship programs to support workforce localization and talent development.
Administration & Government Affairs: Support the application, renewal, and compliance management of business and operational licenses, including fire safety certifications (BOMBA) and environmental compliance requirements (DOE). Coordinate with relevant government agencies and ensure required documents and approvals are maintained on time.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of hands-on HR experience in manufacturing or foreign-invested companies preferred.
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and regulations, EPF/SOCSO/EIS requirements, and local recruitment practices and channels.
Proficient in both Chinese and English, with the ability to use both languages effectively for workplace communication and business coordination.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Good cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
