Human Resources Manager (Construction/Hospitality)
Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad (LSH Capital) is an ACE Market-listed company on Bursa Malaysia, principally engaged in construction, building materials, lighting and M&E products and services, machinery rental, property development, and related solutions through its subsidiaries.
Through its subsidiary, LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd, LSH Capital was awarded a 20-year concession to operate, manage and maintain Kuala Lumpur Tower (KL Tower) and its surrounding areas effective 1 April 2025, providing integrated facility management, operations and maintenance, asset enhancement, and tourism-related services.
About the role
Lead and manage the HR team to ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery. Implement HR initiatives aligned with business objectives, partner with Management on workforce planning and organizational development, and drive continuous improvement in HR policies, systems and processes.
Key responsibilities
HR Leadership & Operations
- Lead and manage the HR team to ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery.
- Implement HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support employee retention and succession planning initiatives.
- Monitor manpower planning requirements and recruitment activities.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
Payroll & Compensation
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Review and recommend compensation and benefits practices to remain competitive within the industry.
Industrial Relations
- Handle disciplinary matters, employee grievances and domestic inquiries.
- Advise Management on employee relations and industrial relations matters.
- Promote and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
HR Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and other applicable labour legislation.
- Develop, review and update HR policies, procedures and SOPs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure audit readiness.
Employee Engagement & Performance Management
- Lead employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
- Drive performance management processes, KPI implementation and employee development plans.
- Support leadership development and talent growth programmes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of Human Resources experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and related labour legislation.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll administration, compensation & benefits, performance management and industrial relations.
- Experience handling disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, employee grievances and conflict resolution.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Construction, Facility Management, Hospitality or Tourism-related industries will be an added advantage.
