A company in the Mining & Building Materials industry is seeking an experienced HR Manager to develop and implement HR strategies. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of HR experience and strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers an opportunity to lead various HR functions, from talent acquisition to compliance.

Qualifications

Job description

We are representing our client in the Mining & Building Materials industry. As the company prepares for expansion, they are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented HR Manager to be based at their HQ in Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with the company goals.
  • Lead full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, training & development, employee engagement and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and industry-specific safety and employment regulations.
  • Partner with departmental heads to assess staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee HR reporting, budgeting, and headcount planning.
  • Support organizational development, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or heavy industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
