Job summary

GRIT is seeking an HR Manager to lead its HR function in Malaysia. This is a hands-on, standalone role serving a lean team of about 40 people and partnering closely with senior leadership.

You will manage end-to-end HR operations, oversee payroll, and handle employee relations, policies and records while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labor laws in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of generalist HR experience.
• Hands-on payroll experience in Malaysia.
• Experience in lean, fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Experience in digital agency, tech, or consulting industries preferred.

• Process monthly payroll.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters and grievances.
• Maintain and update HR policies, the employee handbook and HR records.

What we're looking for

• Solid generalist HR experience of at least 4-5 years, managerial experience is a bonus.
• Hands-on end to end payroll experience in Malaysia
• Experience working in a lean, fast paced environment is a plus.
• Experience in these industries (digital agency, tech, or consulting) is preferred.
