The internship provides hands-on exposure to HR operations, attendance management, payroll administration, and audit closure activities, including SMETA initiatives. Pursuing a degree in HR or related fields with strong MS Office skills and attention to detail is preferred; you will contribute to documentation, filing, and employee engagement

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring working hours and attendance reports.

• Support ER/IR and Payroll documentation scanning, filing, and records management.
• Assist with Employee Handbook distribution.
• Support policy review, clean-up, and translation activities.
• Coordinate employee forums and dialogue sessions.
• Prepare meeting minutes for JCC and other engagement forums.
• Support SMETA audit closure initiatives related to working hours, policies, and communications.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our People Team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to Human Resources operations, employee relations, payroll administration, attendance management, and audit closure activities. The intern will support the team in both administrative and operational tasks as part of the SMETA Audit Closure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Assist in monitoring working hours and attendance reports.

Compile attendance and medical leave (MC) data for business review and follow-up actions.

Support ER/IR and Payroll documentation scanning, filing, and record management.

Assist with Employee Handbook distribution.

Support policy review, clean-up, and translation activities.

Coordinate employee forums and dialogue sessions.

Prepare meeting minutes for Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) and other employee engagement forums.

Support SMETA audit closure initiatives related to working hours, policies, and employee communications.

About you

Currently pursuing a Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or related fields.

Strong interest in Human Resources and business operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Good attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Able to work independently with guidance and collaborate effectively within a team.

Proactive, disciplined, and eager to learn.

Exposure to project-based assignments or group projects will be an added advantage.
