Job summary

Jora Malaysia will close on 9th September 2026. We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our HR team in a manufacturing setup.

You will own end-to-end payroll processing and HR reporting, working independently with our HR team to deliver accurate and compliant records. Requirements include a degree in HRM/Finance/Business Admin, at least 3 years in payroll, proficiency in HR2000 and Excel, and solid knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in HRM/Finance/Business Admin or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years payroll processing experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in HR2000 payroll system and Excel.
• Knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, HRDF).

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing end-to-end for monthly cycles.
• Process data collection to bank payment; ensure accuracy.
• Calculate overtime and shift allowances; verify variable pay.
• Process final salaries for resignations and encashments.
• Onboard new hires; ensure benefits enrolment before closing.
• Prepare monthly HR and payroll reports for Finance.
• Ensure statutory contributions and tax reporting are timely.
• Audit-ready payroll records and documentation.

We are looking for an experienced payroll professional to join our HR team. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing and HR reporting in a manufacturing environment. You will work independently and take full ownership of the payroll function from preparation to bank payment, supported by our HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing (End-to-End)
• Process full monthly payroll cycle independently — from data collection to bank payment via online banking
• Calculate and verify overtime, shift allowances and other variable pay components
• Process final salary for resigned and terminated staff including annual leave encashment and statutory deductions
• Onboard new hires into the payroll system and ensure benefits enrolment before payroll closing
• Statutory Compliance
• Submit monthly statutory contributions accurately and before deadlines — EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN (PCB) and HRDF
• Prepare and submit annual income tax reporting — EA Form and E Form
• Liaise with statutory authorities on compliance matters when required
• HR Reporting
• Prepare monthly labour cost reports and cost allocation reports for the Finance department
• Compile HR statistical data for management reporting, Annual Report and Sustainability Report
• Prepare HR data for regulatory authorities as required
• Support internal and external audit requirements relating to payroll and HR records
• HR Operations Support
• Verify staff claims and benefits entitlements
• Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation in audit-ready condition

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in HR2000 payroll system — this is essential
• Sound knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements — EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN and HRDF
• Experience preparing payroll-related reports
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail, dependable and discreet in handling confidential payroll data.
