Responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding: manage end-to-end recruitment, postings, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding activities.
• HR Administration & compliance: maintain records, attendance, leave, statutory requirements, payroll data, and HR letters; support government submissions and audits.
• Performance & employee relations: assist in appraisal processes, KPIs/OKR tracking, grievances, disciplinary matters, and engagement initiatives.
• Training & development: coordinate training programs, maintain records, prepare HRDF applications, and assess training effectiveness.
• Draft, update and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook; support HR projects and HR system improvements.

In this full‑time position, you will be responsible for supporting the company's HR operations and contributing to the overall growth and development of our talented workforce. Job Summary

The HR Executive is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of human resources functions including recruitment, payroll, compliance, employee relations, training, and HR administration. This role ensures all HR processes are carried out in compliance with Malaysian labor laws while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.

Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts, and related HR documents.

Oversee employee onboarding process including orientation, training schedules, and probation evaluation tracking.

2. HR Administration & Compliance

Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and leave data in both physical and HR systems.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, and other statutory requirements.

Draft and prepare HR‑related letters such as confirmation, transfer, warning, termination, and promotion.

Assist in government submissions (e.g., LHDN forms, CP8D, FOMEMA) and support audits.

Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and claims.

Administer staff benefits including medical, insurance, leave, uniform, and welfare programs.

Ensure accurate and timely statutory payments and submissions.

4. Performance & Employee Relations

Assist in performance appraisal processes, KPI/OKR tracking, and probation/confirmation reviews.

Manage employee relations including grievances, disciplinary cases, counselling, and engagement activities.

Promote a positive work culture and staff retention initiatives.

5. Training & Development

Coordinate training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.

Maintain training records and prepare HRDF‑related applications and claims.

Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.

Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.

Support HR projects such as employee engagement, corporate events, and CSR activities.

Prepare HR‑related reports (e.g., turnover rate, headcount, payroll analysis).

Support digital transformation and HR system improvements.

What we're looking for

At least 2-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the consulting or human resources industry

Strong knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to apply them in a dynamic business environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with employees at all levels

Proficient in data analysis and report‑writing, with a keen eye for detail

Proactive, adaptable, and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting

Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Able to communicate and write effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese; proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred.
