Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM or related field.
• At least 2 years in HR function.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
• Familiarity with BNM STE Policy and AML/CFT/CPF training requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizing, planning, analytical and presentation skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
• Confidentiality and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist recruitment process: postings, screening, interviews, onboarding.
• Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries and conflict resolution.
• Assist payroll processing and statutory contributions; maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and BNM policies; track training expenditure.
• Develop performance appraisal systems; guide managers on evaluations.
• Create/update HR policies in line with local laws and best practices.
• Identify training needs; coordinate professional development programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documents.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Human Resource Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

Assist the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and onboarding new hires

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and facilitating conflict resolution

Assist the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee salaries and statutory contributions, and maintain payroll records

Assist HR and payroll processes comply with labour laws, statutory requirements, and relevant regulatory guidelines, including Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), and ensure proper tracking of staff training expenditure in line with company and BNM policies

Assist in developing performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers on employee evaluations

Help in creating and updating HR policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and best practices

Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees

Maintain accurate employee records and handle HR documentation

Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by organizing team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent

At least 2 years of working experience in HR job function

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

Familiarity with BNM Staff Training Expenditure (STE) Policy Document and AML/CFT/CPF training requirements

Strong interpersonal skills with positive attitude

Strong problem-solving skills

Good organizing, planning, analytical and presentation skills

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, verbal and written communication. Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage

Proficient and trustworthy in handling confidential and sensitive matters

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
