Job summary

LiveLab, under Tec-Do 2.0, is hiring an HR Professional to translate HQ policies into Malaysia-specific implementations and report on local HR operations. You will lead end-to-end recruitment across Malaysia, build a local talent pipeline, and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor law and statutory contributions.

You will handle employee relations, performance reviews, payroll, attendance, and benefits for Malaysia staff, reporting to HQ HR and aligning with regional strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in HRM, BA, Psychology or related field.
• 3+ years of full-spectrum HR experience in overseas/regional entity.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin; Malay is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Translate HQ policies into Malaysia-specific plans and report to HQ HR.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for Malaysia positions and build local talent pipeline.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment law, contracts, hours, termination/offboarding, EPF/SOCSO/EIS, PCB.
• Handle employee grievances, labour disputes, and disciplinary matters.
• Organize quarterly/annual performance reviews and drive a performance feedback culture.
• Identify key positions and high-potential talent; build a local Malaysia talent succession pipeline.
• Oversee payroll calculation, attendance management, and benefits program execution for Malaysia staff.

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) status required.
• Bachelor's degree or above; Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of full-spectrum HR experience in an overseas/regional entity, with hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, or performance management.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin as a working language; Malay is an advantage.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Job Scope:

• Translate HQ HR policies into localized execution plans for Malaysia, ensuring alignment with headquarters' strategic direction; report regularly to HQ HR on local HR operations, headcount movements, and compliance risks.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for all Malaysia positions — requisition confirmation, sourcing channel management, interview evaluation, offer issuance, and onboarding follow-up; build and maintain a local talent pipeline to secure bench strength for key roles.
• Ensure full compliance with Malaysian employment law across employment contracts, working hours, termination/offboarding, statutory contributions (EPF/SOCSO/EIS), and income tax (PCB).
• Handle employee grievances, labor disputes, and disciplinary matters; maintain harmonious employer-employee relations.
• Organize quarterly/annual performance reviews and drive adoption of a performance feedback culture.
• Identify key positions and high-potential talent; build a local Malaysia talent succession pipeline.
• Oversee payroll calculation, attendance management, and benefits program execution for Malaysia staff.
