Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional HR management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and workplace compliance.

• Experience in payroll coordination and benefits administration.

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to join our team at our Senai Johor facility on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our organisation, responsible for overseeing all human resources functions and ensuring that our workforce remains engaged, motivated, and aligned with our company objectives. The Human Resource Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our organisational culture, managing talent acquisition and retention, and supporting our business growth through effective people management. This role is essential to maintaining reputation as a great place to work whilst driving operational success.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive human resources strategies and policies that align with company objectives and comply with Malaysian employment legislation
• Overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, including job profiling, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new employees across all departments
• Managing employee relations, including addressing grievances, conducting disciplinary procedures, and fostering positive workplace relationships
• Administering compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitive salary structures and managing employee benefit schemes
• Maintaining accurate personnel records and managing human resources information systems in compliance with data protection regulations
• Conducting regular performance management reviews and supporting managers in performance appraisal processes
• Ensuring workplace compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Supporting workforce planning initiatives and providing human resources analytics to inform business decisions
• Managing employee engagement initiatives and promoting a positive organizational culture

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a human resources management role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, labor regulations, and workplace compliance requirements
• Demonstrated expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, including recruitment planning and candidate assessment
• Proficiency in employee relations management, including conflict resolution and performance management
• Experience in compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination and benefits programme management
• Advanced proficiency with human resources information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all organizational levels
• Strategic thinking capability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing or electronics industry setting would be advantageous
