Job summary

Hirehub Management Sdn. Bhd. in Senai, Johor, is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management and HR administration from our manufacturing site.

You will drive end-to-end people processes and partner with management to build a productive workforce. The role requires a Bachelor's in HR/Business, at least 5 years HR experience with 2 years in supervision, knowledge of Malaysian labour law, and willingness to travel to China for training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HRM, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations, payroll administration, recruitment, performance management, and HR administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, training and development, and HR administration.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding.
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters; support positive employee relations environment.
• Coordinate probation reviews, performance appraisals, and development initiatives.
• Verify attendance, leave, overtime and payroll data for accurate payroll processing and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR reports, and HRIS data.
• Coordinate training programmes and employee engagement activities.
• Review and improve HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations, payroll administration, recruitment, performance management, and HR administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking employees or stakeholders.
• Willing to travel to China for training (2-3 months).

Location: Senai, Johor

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8:30AM - 5:30PM)
