Job summary

Heng Hup Holdings, a leading scrap ferrous metal trader in Malaysia, seeks an HR Executive to lead payroll and HR administration for Melaka operations.

You will handle monthly payroll for office staff, yard workers, and drivers, submit statutory contributions, maintain attendance, manage onboarding and records, and support recruitment and policy maintenance. This role offers growth within a listed group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll processing (Malaysia statutory compliance: EPF/SOCSO/EIS/PCB)
• Mandarin speaking is required for communication with Mandarin-speaking staff and management
• Based in or willing to relocate to Melaka

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for office staff, yard workers, and lorry drivers (including overtime, allowances, and deductions)
• Prepare and submit statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD)
• Maintain accurate attendance records (including weighbridge/yard shift workers)
• Handle new hire onboarding, employee records, and HR documentation (offer letters, contracts, warning letters)
• Support recruitment coordination and interview scheduling
• Assist in maintaining HR policies, SOPs, and staff attendance/leave systems
• Handle day-to-day HR administrative matters and employee enquiries

We are an established scrap metal recycling and trading company based in Melaka, and a subsidiary of a public-listed company. Backed by the resources and stability of our listed group, we continue to grow our operations across purchasing, yard, logistics, and transport. We are looking for a reliable HR Executive to take charge of our payroll and HR administrative functions.

• Process monthly payroll for office staff, yard workers, and lorry drivers (including overtime, allowances, and deductions)
• Prepare and submit statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD)
• Maintain accurate attendance records (including weighbridge/yard shift workers)
• Handle new hire onboarding, employee records, and HR documentation (offer letters, contracts, warning letters)
• Support recruitment coordination and interview scheduling
• Assist in maintaining HR policies, SOPs, and staff attendance/leave systems
• Handle day-to-day HR administrative matters and employee enquiries

• Based in or willing to relocate to Melaka
