Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Executive to join our people team in Kuala Lumpur. This on-site, full-time role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration, coordinating with our China HQ to align HR reporting and policies.

You will manage sourcing, screening, interviews, and records, while providing day-to-day HR support and maintaining accurate documentation as the company grows. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese with working English proficiency.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and coordination.
• Good interpersonal skills and a service-minded approach.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and candidate screening; coordinate interviews and the full onboarding process.
• Maintain employee records and keep HR documentation accurate and organised.
• Process employment changes: onboarding, confirmation, internal transfers, and offboarding.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and day-to-day HR support.
• Coordinate with China headquarters on HR reporting, policy alignment, and cross-border matters.
• Compile HR data and prepare regular reports.
• Implement and uphold company HR policies and procedures.
• Support other people-related projects as the team grows.

We are seeking a Human Resources Executive to join our people team in Kuala Lumpur (on-site, full-time).

This is a hands-on, recruitment-focused HR role within a rapidly growing creator business. You will be responsible for the entire hiring process, from sourcing and screening candidates to scheduling interviews and managing onboarding, while also maintaining our employee records, HR processes, and internal documentation. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the team regarding HR inquiries, ensuring the smooth operation of the workplace as we scale. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our China headquarters to ensure HR reporting and policies are aligned across both offices.

If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with people, we will provide the necessary training. HR experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written), with working English proficiency – this role involves direct liaison with our China headquarters on HR matters, requiring daily communication, meetings, and documentation in Mandarin.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, with strong communication and coordination skills.

• Good interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach to collaborating with colleagues.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Prior HR experience is an advantage; comprehensive training will be provided for candidates without it.
