Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Human Resources Executive to join our Kuala Lumpur on-site team. This hands-on, recruitment-focused role covers sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding, and maintaining HR records while aligning with our China HQ.

You will be the primary HR contact, handle day-to-day queries, and support HR policies as we scale. Training is provided; prior HR experience is a plus but not required. Hours are 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) with working English proficiency.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach to colleagues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Prior HR experience is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and candidate screening; coordinate interviews and full onboarding process.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation accurately.
• Process employment changes: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and offboarding.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and day-to-day relations.
• Coordinate with China HQ on HR reporting and policy alignment.
• Compile HR data and prepare regular reports.
• Implement and uphold company HR policies and procedures.
• Support other people-related projects as the team grows.

This is a hands‑on, recruitment‑focused HR role within a rapidly growing creator business. You will be responsible for the entire hiring process, from sourcing and screening candidates to scheduling interviews and managing onboarding, while also maintaining our employee records, HR processes, and internal documentation. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the team regarding HR inquiries, ensuring the smooth operation of the workplace as we scale. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our China headquarters to ensure HR reporting and policies are aligned across both offices.

If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with people, we will provide the necessary training. HR experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
