CVF FORWARDING (M) SDN BHD is seeking an HR Assistant to support end-to-end HR processes in Malaysia. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, maintaining employee records, attendance and leave management, and basic employee relations.
The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in HRM or related field, with 1–2 years of HR experience preferred; fresh graduates may also be considered. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Prepare interview schedules and documents.
Assist with onboarding new employees.
Employee Records & Documentation
Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
Prepare employment, confirmation, promotion and transfer letters.
Maintain attendance, leave and employee information.
Ensure documents are properly filed and updated.
Attendance & Leave Management
Monitor employee attendance and punctuality.
Record annual leave, medical leave, emergency leave and unpaid leave.
Follow up on frequent absenteeism or late attendance.
Prepare attendance reports.
Employee Relations
Assist employees with HR-related enquiries.
Handle basic employee complaints and workplace issues.
Assist management with disciplinary matters.
Prepare warning letters, show-cause letters and other HR correspondence when required.
Company Policies & Compliance
Help implement company HR policies and procedures.
Ensure employees understand company rules and regulations.
Maintain HR records required for audits or inspections.
Assist in ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment requirements.
Training & Development
Coordinate employee training programmes.
Arrange venues, attendance lists and training materials.
Maintain training records.
Assist management in identifying employee training needs.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
Prepare documents for new employees.
Conduct or coordinate employee orientation.
Collect company property when employees leave.
Prepare resignation, termination and clearance documentation.
Qualifications – HR Assistant
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
1–2 years of HR experience preferred; fresh graduates may also be considered.
Basic knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
Familiar with EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB procedures.
Basic knowledge of payroll, attendance and leave administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to maintain confidential employee information.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, disciplined, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages are an advantage.
Willing to handle general HR and administrative duties as required.
