Job summary

Alam Flora Environmental Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive HSE specialist to ensure regulatory compliance across all operations in Malaysia. You will coordinate safety programs, lead risk assessments, and manage HSE documentation.

Daily duties include inspections, audits, incident investigations, timely HSE reporting, and delivering toolbox talks. You will liaise with authorities and drive continuous improvement within approved budgets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, and other applicable HSE regulations and standards.
• Develop, review, and maintain HIRARC, Environmental Aspect & Impact assessments, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
• Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and workplace assessments to identify risks and ensure compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and occupational illnesses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and submit HSE reports, records, and statutory documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of HSE programs and improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, contractors, and internal stakeholders on HSE-related matters.
• Monitor HSE performance data and maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance purposes.
• Support the execution of HSE activities within approved budgets while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
