Job summary

Teleperformance Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to align people strategies with business objectives. You will partner with leaders to forecast talent needs, design workforce plans, and drive succession and development programs.

The role requires 2+ years in HR, solid knowledge of Malaysian labour law, excellent communication, and the ability to manage employee relations with discretion. Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 2 years in HRBP/HR Generalist roles in corporate or fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, Malaysia employment law, and labour compliance
• Strategic thinker with ability to align HR with business objectives
• Experience in talent management including recruitment, performance, and development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
• Strong problem-solving and employee relations management
• Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• BPO experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand talent needs, challenges, and strategic objectives, delivering tailored HR solutions
• Develop and implement people strategies including workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
• Support full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, relations, offboarding
• Advise line managers on HR policies, employment law compliance, and best practices in people management
• Manage employee relations matters with policy and legal compliance
• Identify organizational development initiatives to boost engagement, retention and performance
• Contribute to design and delivery of learning and development programs
• Monitor HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Work with HR team to ensure consistent policy implementation and service delivery
• Support change management and help teams navigate transitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification (such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is advantageous

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, HR Generalist, or related HR role within a corporate or fast-paced business environment

• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and labour law compliance relevant to Malaysia

• Excellent understanding of business operations and the ability to think strategically about how HR can contribute to business objectives

• Proven experience in talent management, including recruitment, performance management, and employee development

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all organisational levels

• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex employee relations situations with sensitivity and professionalism

• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

• Able to speak fluently in Mandarin and English.

• Experience in BPO is preferred

• Identify and drive organisational development initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance

• Contribute to the design and delivery of learning and development programmes that support employee growth and skill advancement

• Monitor and analyse HR metrics and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

• Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure consistent policy implementation and HR service delivery across the organisation

• Support change management initiatives and help teams navigate organisational transitions effectively
