PROPAC INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD is seeking a proactive HR professional to lead end-to-end recruitment, talent acquisition, and staff development. You will manage job postings on major platforms, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
You will also organize talent acquisition activities, conduct background checks, negotiate offers, and help build a robust talent pipeline for critical roles. Attendance at Batu Kawan office is required as a temporary work location.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify manpower requirements, define job specifications, and develop recruitment plans aligned with business needs.
Develop, prepare, and publish job advertisements across JobStreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, MYFutureJobs, and other relevant recruitment platforms.
Proactively identify, source, and attract qualified candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, university partnerships, headhunting, and other recruitment channels.
Review and evaluate resumes, conduct initial candidate screenings, assess candidate suitability, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to facilitate effective candidate selection.
Plan, organise, and participate in walk-in interviews, career fairs, campus recruitment, and other talent acquisition activities to fulfil manpower requirements.
Conduct reference and background checks where applicable, facilitate salary negotiations, manage offer approvals, and prepare employment offer letters for successful candidates.
Monitor recruitment progress and maintain accurate recruitment records, databases, and reports, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, recruitment conversion rates, and sourcing channel effectiveness.
Build, maintain, and continuously develop talent pipelines for critical, technical, and hard-to-fill positions to support current and future manpower needs.
Support and implement employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company's employer value proposition, enhance talent engagement, and attract potential candidates.
Coordinate pre-employment arrangements and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive transition for newly hired employees.
Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to identify training needs, assess competency gaps, and develop training plans aligned with business objectives.
Develop, coordinate, and implement annual training plans, schedules, and programmes to support employee development and organisational needs.
Organise and facilitate internal and external training programmes, including technical training, soft skills development, onboarding, and mandatory training.
Maintain and update training records, attendance, evaluation forms, and training reports to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company requirements.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance indicators, and recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
Assist in managing training budgets, coordinating training providers, and administering HRD Corp levy, grant applications, claims, and related documentation, where applicable.
Support the implementation of employee development initiatives, competency enhancement programmes, and continuous learning activities to strengthen workforce capabilities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, training.
Hands‑on experience in full‑cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Familiarity with JobStreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, MYFutureJobs, and other recruitment channels.
Experience in training coordination, training needs analysis, training records, and programme evaluation.
Knowledge of HRD Corp training programmes, claims, and grant applications will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, interpersonal, coordination, and negotiation skills.
Proactive, detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Candidates with experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industries will have an added advantage.
