Agensi Pekerjaan ProTalent Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Human Resources professional in a manufacturing environment. You will lead recruitment, staff development, payroll, and compliance, while fostering a fair workplace culture across Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
The role requires strong communication, integrity, and the ability to multitask, with a focus on aligning HR practices with labor laws and ISO standards.
Recruitment and staffing: Attracting, interviewing, and selecting the right candidates to meet an organization's needs.
Organization and utilization of the workforce: Designing an organizational framework that maximizes human resources and establishes systems of communication.
Maintenance of the workforce: Addressing health, safety and worker-management issues, including compliance with federal workplace laws.
Training and development: Evaluating workers' educational needs and designing programs to meet them.
Performance appraisal: Assessing employee job performance to provide feedback and use in determining promotions, salary increases and termination of employment.
Employee rewards: Designing programs to reward employees for accomplishments and motivate them to continue performing at a high level.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion: Designing programs and procedures to ensure that all candidates, employees, and customers are treated fairly and without discrimination.
Managing compensation and benefits: oversees the compensation and benefits packages for all employees to help establish the compensation structure of a business and set wage bands for specific roles and positions. HR may also examine whether the wages are competitive to ensure that the organization is paying employees fairly based on market standards.
Payroll involves paying employees for the hours worked. HR is responsible for verifying employee hours and processing their payment according to the company's pay schedule. HR may also respond to any questions or concerns employees may have about their payment. HR may also monitor all payments issued to contractors, freelancers and temporary employees. This may involve verifying their hours and rate and coordinating with any third-party vendors involved in the employee's contract, such as staffing agencies.
HR manages discipline if employees violate workplace policies and documents all violations and actions taken in response in detail. Examples of misbehavior that may warrant corrective or disciplinary action include performance issues, tardiness or unprofessional conduct with a colleague or client.
Ensure conformance to the requirements of the Richport Technology Quality Management system. This includes supporting activities related to achieving and maintaining an ISO certification and satisfying relevant customer quality performance criteria.
Coach, mentor, and develop team member and successor.
Partner with the Departmental Manager to establish and maintain a positive employee relations climate via the development of a comprehensive employee engagement and communication program.
Ensure compliance with Employment Act, labour regulations, ISO standard, and RBA standard.
Liaise with external vendors, auditors, tax agents, and statutory bodies.
Any other ad-hoc assignments and related duties as assigned.
Job requirements:
Degree in Human Resources or any other equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin
Comfortable communicating with both workers and management.
Good knowledge of Labor Laws & industrial practices.
Ability to multitask and work independent effectively.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Able to handle confidential information responsibly.
Able to support during non-workhours.
