Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Administrator to handle monthly payroll processing, verify attendance and deductions, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The role includes calculating salaries, bonuses, and settlements, and generating payroll reports.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of payroll experience, be proficient with HRIS systems (SAP/PeopleSoft or similar), and possess strong Excel/MS Office skills along with excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of payroll administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems; SAP/PeopleSoft or other payroll tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
  • Verify employee attendance, overtime, leave records, allowances, and deductions.
  • Calculate salaries, bonuses, commissions, incentives, and final settlements.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Generate payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
  • Manage employee tax deductions and submissions.
  • Prepare and submit statutory contributions and related reports.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, payroll regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and auditors when required.
  • Prepare monthly payroll summaries and management reports.
  • Maintain payroll files, records, and documentation for audits.
  • Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
