Job summary

GaiGai Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Associate to support the business across the full employee lifecycle. This broad HR role focuses on recruitment, HR business partnering and performance management, partnering with managers to build teams and resolve people-related challenges.

You'll manage end-to-end recruitment, advise on employee relations, support performance cycles and coach managers on feedback.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HRBP role.
• Strong recruitment and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with performance management and employee relations.
• Good understanding of HR practices and employment regulations.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with managers and handling sensitive matters.
• Proactive, hands-on and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers on manpower needs and hiring plans.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and screening to offers and onboarding.
• Build talent pipelines and explore new ways to attract talent.
• Be a key HR point of contact for managers and employees.
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance and workplace matters.
• Support managers through difficult conversations and people-related issues.
• Identify people challenges and work with managers on practical solutions.
• Manage performance and appraisal cycles.
• Support goal setting, probation reviews and performance improvement plans.
• Coach managers on giving feedback and managing performance effectively.
