Job summary

PETOUR MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage full cycle HR activities in Malaysia. You will handle recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance with applicable laws.

You will partner with managers, develop talent pipelines, and oversee performance and development programs to support business growth. A proactive, confidential, and collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations, payroll, and compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Experience managing full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, MS Office and HR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment cycle including workforce planning, postings, sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and provide recruitment solutions.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines to support business growth.
• Oversee HR operations and compliance, policies, handbooks and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Employment Act, IR Act, Safety and Health regs.
• Handle disciplinary processes, grievances, and investigations.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing and statutory requirements.
• Administer benefits, leave management, claims and government submissions.
• Coordinate annual salary reviews and performance bonuses.
• Support learning & development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
• Drive organizational development and change management.
