Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to ensure accurate, timely processing of Shared Services (Hire to Retire) for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, while contributing to global transformations. You will lead a team ensuring quality service and data integrity across HR processes.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the role requires Mandarin and English fluency, strong stakeholder management, and proficiency with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft/Oracle and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR operations/shared services experience.
• Experience supporting China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
• Hands-on HR transactional processes: onboarding, offboarding, data management, payroll, benefits.
• Experience in a shared services or HR operations environment.
• Proficient in HR technologies and digital HR systems.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, esp. Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee lifecycle inquiries via ServiceNow, email, chat, or phone.
• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
• Process employee movements: onboarding, transfers, promotions, resignations, terminations.
• Prepare and administer employee documents and contracts.
• Manage leave administration and return-to-work processes.
• Support compensation and benefits administration, including salary changes.
• Monitor and resolve complex employee cases and escalations.
• Conduct audits and quality checks on HR processes and data.
• Identify HR process improvements and system enhancements.
• Act as SME for assigned HR processes and collaborate with stakeholders.
