Job summary

RK South Asia Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Assistant HR Officer to support payroll, employee relations, recruitment, training, and HR administration.

You will assist with payroll and salary calculations, attendance and leave, foreign worker documents, training arrangements, recruitment, and maintaining HR records.

Good communication, Mandarin ability, basic MS Office, and a proactive attitude are required for the role.

Qualifications

• Good communication with employees and management.
• Able to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking employees.
• HR experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office / Excel.
• Responsible, organized and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll and salary calculation.
• Assist in handling employee discipline, attendance and leave.
• Assist with foreign worker matters and related documents.
• Arrange and monitor employee training.
• Assist with recruitment and new employee matters.
• Maintain HR records and documents.
• Perform other HR duties as assigned.
