Agensi Pekerjaan The Supreme HR Advisory Sdn Bhd's client in Malaysia seeks an experienced HR and Administration Manager to oversee recruitment, payroll, benefits, and regulatory compliance. The role covers policy development, workforce planning, and employee relations across departments.
The successful candidate will lead HR initiatives, manage performance processes, and provide guidance to management on HR strategy. Occasional travel may be required.

About the role
Oversee the full spectrum of HR and Administration functions, including recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and foreign worker administration. Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day HR operations while providing effective HR support and guidance to all departments.
Key responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other relevant labour laws, statutory requirements, and government regulations
Develop, review, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, SOPs, job descriptions, compensation schemes, and HR processes in line with business needs and regulatory requirements
Lead manpower planning and talent management initiatives, including workforce requirements, internal mobility, career development, succession planning, and future expansion needs
Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, counselling, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution, while maintaining a positive and productive working environment
Support Management in strategic HR initiatives such as salary reviews, compensation restructuring, job redesign, job enrichment, and organisational development
Monitor HR practices and documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across the organisation
Provide HR advice and support to Management and department heads on employee-related matters and workforce planning
Undertake other HR-related projects and assignments as directed by Management
Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience managing full-spectrum HR functions
Hands-on experience in payroll processing and foreign worker administration will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other relevant Malaysian labour regulations
Good experience in handling employee relations, grievances, counselling, and disciplinary matters, including foreign workers
Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong documentation and reporting skills
Mature, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as lead a team
Willing to travel occasionally for foreign worker applications, recruitment activities, branch audits, and other ad-hoc assignments when required
