The role oversees full spectrum of HR, partnering with Management and the C-suite on people, talent and organisational matters, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on daily HR tasks.

This role will oversee the full spectrum of HR while partnering closely with Management and the C-suite on people, talent and organisational matters. With a predominantly young workforce, the successful candidate should be people-oriented, approachable and comfortable balancing strategic HR priorities with hands-on, day-to-day people matters.

Lead the overall HR function and translate business priorities into practical people strategies and initiatives.
Partner with Management and the C-suite on workforce planning, talent, performance and organisational matters.
Provide objective and practical HR advice on people and management decisions, balancing employee needs with business and organisational priorities.
Foster an engaging, collaborative and accountable workplace where employees are encouraged to contribute, develop and perform at their best.
Maintain close employee engagement and understand evolving workforce needs.
Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, communication, recognition and overall employee experience.
Build a strong sense of connection and collaboration across the organisation.
Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, career development and succession planning.
Identify people and capability gaps and work with Management to strengthen organisational capabilities for future growth.
Utilise HR data and people insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Review and strengthen HR policies, procedures and practices to ensure they remain practical, consistent and relevant as the organisation evolves.
Lead compensation and benefits practices and oversee payroll administration to ensure effective and accurate HR operations.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and other applicable employment laws and statutory requirements.
Provide practical guidance to Management and employees on employment-related matters and statutory requirements.
Lead, coach and develop the HR team, building greater capability, accountability and ownership within the function.
Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with proven experience leading a team or HR function.
Strong all-round HR experience with a solid understanding of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955, employment practices and applicable labour and statutory requirements.
People-oriented, approachable and open-minded, with the maturity and confidence to handle a broad range of people and organisational matters.
Strong judgement, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
