Premium Vegetable Oils Malaysia in Pasir Gudang is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the end-to-end people processes at our plant. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, training, compliance, and industrial relations to support production and safety goals.
You will supervise HR initiatives, develop engagement programs, and ensure adherence to local labor laws while coordinating with local authorities and plant management.

Responsible in managing day to dayoperations of HR, Employee life-cycle,administration, compliance, licensing with zero NCR.
Responsible for ensuring all company FW matters are met according to company as well as government acts.
Responsible for managing and coordinating production partners in tune with daily or monthly manpower plan.
Responsible for ensuring all contract workers / outsourced workers matters are met according to company as well as government acts.
Create industrial harmony and maintain excellent industrial relations with the workforce and ensure worker safety & social development of the workforce.
Responsible in coordinating and monitoring the admin expenses and department cost saving initiatives.
Oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, retention, and offboarding.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures to remain competitive.
Continuously monitor industry compensation structures, benefits and recommend changes to the management.
Maintain and manage the HRIS for accurate employee data.
Generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making.
Accountable for overall plant cleanliness (including drainages/fat traps) and ensure areas around specific plants are up to the standard upkeep as well as consistently coordinating with relevant HOD’s.
Accountable to monitor and maintain all administration offices,R&D,Canteen, Rest Rooms in terms of maintenance and its cleanliness as per standard requirements.
To administer cleaners, all office facility providers i.e Water dispenser, vending machines etc.
Supervise on canteen & its operators and area related as well as appliances if any.
Responsible for managing Company Guesthouse, & vehicles.
Responsible for managing overall security activities within company premise including tracking movements, fencing, spotlight, visitors and ensuring everyone adheres to the rules and regulations of the factory premises as well as maintaining rapport with local police.
Overseeing the PG travel desk operations, support the Head of HR to develop and maintain policies, vendor management and cost controls.
Liaise & coordinate in with the local authorities on utilities (local sewerage company - IWK, water - SAJ & electricity - TNB), city council and company related enforcement units.
Establish good rapport with local government & private hospitals & fire brigade.
Ensure compliance on Environmental aspects across plants which in line with local council regulations (MBPG / Department of Environment).
To administratively support Safety Manager & HOD’s on requirements for Department of Health & Safety (DOSH) & Fire department for necessary compliance.
Responsible for overall management of foreign workers, including recruitment, yearly visa renewals, accommodation, transportation services & grievance handling.
Responsible for the overall management of contract workers / outsourced workers, coordinate with plant managers to provide adequate contract workers as per the production plan.
Build effective industrial / labour relations, ensure the presence of industrial harmony, devise efficient and transparent systems for grievance handling procedures
Ensure compliance to labour laws/manpower regulations, monitor regularly
Coordinating with regional authorities, establishing and maintaining good relationships with manpower department etc.
Ensure compliances to policies and manpower law requirements and initiate dialogue on reforms that are conducive to business strategies by creating forum with HR personnel and operational managers
Support management in gearing up for any site audits
Support in implementation of the Health and Safety related programs and initiatives
Oversee the expatriate worker recruitment, hostels and other amenities as per company guidelines and policies
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of expatriates, including recruitments, work permit, facilitating smooth onboarding, and ensuring compliance with immigration and employment regulations.
Support expatriates' cultural integration, aiding with relocation logistics, housing, and local orientation.
Ensure strict adherence to immigration laws and regulations governing expatriate employment in Malaysia.
Responsible for overseeing company-wide licenses, permits, and certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Play a strategic role in coordinating with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external partners to facilitate the acquisition and renewal of licenses and certifications.
Risk Mitigation and Reporting, identifying, and mitigating potential risks associated with licenses, permits, and certifications.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Around 8 to 13 years’ experience & minimum of 2 years of Managerial HR management experience in a manufacturing or factory setting. Experience in Palm oil refinery / specialty fats industry will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage and develop HR processes and programs.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
