Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced HR leader to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives in Kulai, Johor. The role covers manpower planning, succession and talent management, and the establishment of HR policies and best practices.

You will lead Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compliance & Governance, and HR Operations, ensuring payroll governance, statutory compliance, and effective training programs across the organization.

Job description

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with department heads on manpower planning and organizational development.
• Support succession planning and talent management initiatives.
• Establish HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Talent Acquisition

• Lead recruitment activities for production, technical, executive, and managerial positions.
• Manage workforce planning to ensure optimum manpower levels.
• Develop employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.

Employee Relations & Industrial Relations

• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, and performance management cases.
• Maintain harmonious employee relations and positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act.
• Oversee foreign worker recruitment, permits, hostel management, renewals, and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with government agencies and service providers regarding foreign labour matters.
• Monitor worker welfare and accommodation standards.
• Review salary structures and market competitiveness.
• Manage annual salary reviews, bonuses, and benefit programs.
• Ensure payroll governance and statutory compliance.
• Identify training needs and develop annual training plans.
• Drive leadership development and workforce upskilling programs.
• Monitor training effectiveness and competency development.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies.
• Support audits related to ISO, ESG, RBA, customer compliance requirements, and government inspections.
• Maintain HR records and reporting accuracy.

HR Operations

• Oversee payroll, attendance, leave administration, and HRIS.
• Prepare monthly HR reports and manpower analytics.
• Manage the HR & Admin team and departmental budget
