Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated and analytical HR Management Trainee to join our Human Resources Department. This programme is designed for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about building a long-term career in Human Resources, with structured rotations across HR functions and hands-on exposure to operations and workforce management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Industrial Relations or related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with no more than 2 years of working experience.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.50 or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Malaysian employment law and HR practices.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Able to prepare reports, analyse workforce data and deliver presentations.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and an interest in HR analytics.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, adaptable and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across various HR functions and business operations.
• Support Talent Acquisition activities, including recruitment coordination and candidate management.
• Gain exposure to Employee Relations, Learning & Development and Performance Management.
• Support Workforce Planning and HR Data Analytics, including workforce reporting and data analysis.
• Support HR operations at Gateway / Transit Centres and Outlets / Franchise Operations.
• Prepare HR reports, presentations and workforce-related analysis.
• Assist in HR projects and initiatives assigned by the HR team.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners and relevant stakeholders to understand business and manpower needs.
• Complete assigned projects and present findings to the management panel.
• Take on additional responsibilities based on rotation requirements and business needs.
