Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an HR Lifecycle Operations Advisor to manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. You will ensure data accuracy, policy compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction while driving process improvements across regions.

You will collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations to optimize lifecycle processes and implement system enhancements that improve efficiency and the overall employee experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in HR operations.
• Good understanding of labour/compliance laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, transfers, performance cycles, leaves, immigration, and offboarding.
• Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.

Responsibilities As an HR Lifecycle Operations Advisor, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth onboarding, job status changes, and offboarding processes. You will be responsible for maintaining data accuracy, ensuring compliance with HR policies, driving process improvements, and enhancing the overall employee experience and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage HR transactions, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company policies and compliance requirements;
• Partner with HRBPs, TA, and HR Operations teams across regions, acting as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders;
• Optimize employee lifecycle processes by driving continuous process improvements and HR system enhancements;
• Support regional and global initiatives focused on improving HR operational efficiency and employee experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in HR operations;
• Good understanding of labour/compliance laws, cultural nuances and HR best practices;
• Experience with employee lifecycle (including but not limited to onboarding, transfers, performance cycles, leaves of absence, immigration matters and offboarding);
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving;

Preferred Qualifications

• Support employees and improve employee experience by providing end-to-end HR solutions to solve their issues;
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics;
• Humility, flexibility, and good interpersonal & customer facing skills are a must to be part of a strong and united team across the APAC region;
• Experience in setting up relationships & handling trade unions is a plus.
