Job summary

Think Academy International Education Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Executive (Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations) on a contract basis to join our Human Resources team. Based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, you will lead end-to-end recruitment while also handling employee relations and policy development.

You will build strategic recruitment campaigns, manage engagement with internal stakeholders and external partners, and drive positive employee relations across the organisation.

Qualifications

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, and employee relations within a fast-paced business environment
• Strong proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all organisational levels
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Solid understanding of Malaysian employment laws, labour regulations, and best practices in HR management
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and a diplomatic approach to handling sensitive employee relations issues
• Experience with recruitment campaigns, employer branding, and talent pipeline development
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong time management capabilities
• Preferred: Experience in the education or international business sectors

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring of qualified professionals across various departments
• Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies to attract high-calibre candidates aligned with company needs and growth objectives
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners to ensure efficient talent pipeline management
• Handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, grievance management, and performance-related discussions
• Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture
• Conducting exit interviews and analysing resignation data to identify trends and improve employee retention
• Assisting with employee engagement initiatives, team building activities, and internal communications to foster a collaborative work environment
• Maintaining accurate HR records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
• Providing HR support and guidance to employees regarding policies, benefits, and general HR matters
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and employee experience

About the role
Think Academy International Education Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Executive (Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations) to join our Human Resources team on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role that combines two critical HR functions, enabling you to make a direct impact on our organisational culture and workforce development. Based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for attracting top talent whilst fostering positive employee relationships and engagement. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to ongoing relationship management and conflict resolution.
