Job summary

Bonia is seeking an HR Executive (Private Company) to manage end-to-end recruitment, payroll for retail and HQ staff, attendance tracking, store rosters, and employee relations. You will oversee onboarding and offboarding, ensure compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act, maintain HR records, and assist in training and performance appraisals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HRM, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of generalist HR experience with exposure to retail/shift-work payroll and recruitment.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Labour Laws, Industrial Relations and statutory regulations (EPF/SOCSO/PCB).
• Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., SQL Payroll, AutoCount Payroll, InfoTech, PayrollPanda).
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Chinese an added advantage for retail interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for retail store staff (Promoters, Cashiers, Store Supervisors) and HQ roles.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing, including basic salary, OT, commissions, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB.
• Track attendance, shifts, leaves and public holiday pay for retail store operations.
• Manage onboarding of new hires and offboarding (contracts, orientation, system setup, exit interviews, settlements).
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary issues and staff grievances, ensuring compliance with Malaysian law.
