Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support recruitment, payroll, attendance, leave, claims and onboarding. You will maintain employee records, handle grievances and performance, and assist with development programmes.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in HR or related field.
• 2-3 years of HR experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview arrangements and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records and administer attendance, leave, claims, confirmation, transfer and resignation matters.
• Process monthly payroll and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp levy and PCB).
• Attend to employee enquiries and assist with grievances, disciplinary matters and engagement activities.
• Coordinate probation reviews, performance appraisals, training and development programmes.
• Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and Malaysian labour laws.
• Prepare HR reports and support general HR, audit and office administration.
• Perform other duties assigned by management and achieve KPIs.
