Job summary

TJS Studysteps Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Executive to support HR operations and foster a positive workplace culture. This full-time role involves collaborating with management and staff to enhance employee engagement and ensure HR services align with business objectives.

You will assist with recruitment, payroll inquiries, records management, and policy implementation while upholding data protection and confidentiality across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative role.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, Malaysia employment law and local labour regulations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and local language.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
• Customer-service oriented approach to employee support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, screening and interviewing.
• Support administration of employee benefits, payroll inquiries and compensation questions.
• Maintain personnel records with data protection and confidentiality.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and training programs.
• Handle employee relations matters including grievances and performance management support.
• Provide HR admin support: scheduling, documentation and reporting.
• Assist with policy development, implementation and communication.
• Support compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
• Liaise between employees and management to address workplace concerns.
