Job summary

See Yong & Son Construction Sdn Bhd S(YS) is seeking a motivated HR Executive to support payroll, recruitment and HR administration in a growing construction company. This role offers hands-on experience and comprehensive on-the-job training to develop professional HR skills.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Degree in HR or a related field, with 2–3 years of HR exposure. Strong Excel skills and Mandarin language ability are preferred; candidate should reside near Kuchai

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Learn and manage monthly payroll processes with accurate calculations of salaries, deductions, overtime, allowances and benefits.
• Assist in foreign worker administration, including document prep, medical checks and work permit renewals.
• Prepare and submit documents to Immigration and other statutory bodies.
• Support recruitment: post ads, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, prepare employment documents and onboard staff.
• Coordinate employee training schedules, attendance, and training records.
• Assist with HR-related claims and government training grants.
• Ensure HR and payroll activities comply with labour laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records with confidentiality and proper documentation.
• Participate in HR improvement projects and ad-hoc assignments.
