Job summary

KHATAM Festive Apparel Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Generalist Assistant to support recruitment coordination, onboarding and daily HR operations for our retail team. You will handle candidate communications, organize interviews, and assist with basic payroll inputs under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills, with a proactive, confidential approach and ability to multitask across vacancies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Admin, Business Management or Psychology (or related field).
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; internship experience is a plus.
• Experience in retail or high-volume recruitment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including candidate coordination and interviews.
• Assist HR operations: attendance, leave, employee info updates, payroll input support.
• Provide employee engagement support and respond to routine inquiries.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and prepare simple reports.
