Job summary

Tech Harvest Capital is seeking a Human Resource Associate focused on compliance and recruitment to support HR operations in Batu Kawan, Penang. The role covers policy maintenance, compliance reporting, and recruitment activities.

You will help ensure HR practices align with Malaysian Labour Law, draft and update agreements, and assist with onboarding. Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in HRM or related field.
• 1 year HR experience is an added advantage.
• Well-versed in Malaysian Labour Law and Employment Act.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.
• Prepare, update and maintain HR policies, procedures, related agreements and employee handbooks.
• Support the preparation of reports and documentation for compliance purposes.
• Assist with research on employment law and related agency updates for internal reviews.
• Manage recruitment processes including job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding and record keeping.
• Communicate with candidates and internal clients throughout the recruitment cycle.
