AlphaESS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an HR professional to manage end-to-end recruitment across executive, technical, engineering, operator, and admin roles in Kulim and Penang.

Job description

This role encompasses end-to-end recruitment management across executive, technical, engineering, operator, and administrative positions, alongside employee relations, engagement, and training coordination for facilities in Kulim. You will serve as a key HR partner managing the full hiring lifecycle, employee grievances, and compliance with Malaysian employment regulations.

Key responsibilities

Manage full-lifecycle hiring for executive, technical, engineering, operator, and administrative roles across Penang and Kulim facilities

Leverage job portals (JobStreet, LinkedIn, MYFutureJobs), local recruitment agencies, headhunters, referral programs, and campus recruitment/career fairs for talent sourcing

Review resumes, conduct initial HR screenings, facilitate behavioral/technical interviews with hiring managers, and manage candidate assessments

Prepare employment offers and compensation packages, negotiate salary terms in alignment with internal budget bands, and ensure seamless onboarding/induction for new hires

Track recruitment metrics (Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, Turnover/Retention Rates, Sourcing Channel Yield) and provide monthly TA updates to management

Represent the company at local career fairs, university events, and industry networking sessions in Penang and Kedah

Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, workplace conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters following proper Domestic Inquiry (DI) and Industrial Relations (IR) practices

Support HRD Corp (HRDF) e-TRiS grant applications, course registrations, and training record upkeep for annual training compliance

Oversee cross-site HR alignment and engagement activities for teams.

About you

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of hands-on HR experience, with at least 2+ years focusing on end-to-end recruitment

In-depth understanding of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and local statutory requirements

Familiarity with HRD Corp (HRDF) claims/e-TRiS process

Proficiency in ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), JobStreet Enterprise, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Office

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

High adaptability to travel and work in Kulim sites

Strong problem-solving skills, confidentiality, and ability to handle high-volume sourcing under tight deadlines
