Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on HR & Admin Executive to manage the full spectrum of HR and administrative functions, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, policy compliance, training coordination, foreign worker management and general administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management and ensuring the company’s operations run efficiently and smoothly.

You will handle end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with Malaysian employment

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in HR management, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR/payroll systems (Exacom).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide HR-related guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of HR initiatives, such as employee engagement activities and team-building events.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
  • Process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing, including statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, HRDC).
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and support conflict resolution and counselling.
  • Conduct investigations and disciplinary actions, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with labour laws and company SOPs.
  • Manage foreign worker matters including quota applications, permit renewals, medical check-ups (FOMEMA), renewals, SOCSO updates, and hostel management.
  • Manage administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare HR and administrative reports for management review.

Requirements
