Job summary

Focal Consulting in Alor Setar is seeking a proactive operations coordinator to manage daily hostel operations and logistics. You will handle room allocation, check-in/out flows, and maintain records to ensure smooth hostel functioning.

Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, coordinating repairs, managing supplies, and supporting outdoor errands. The ideal candidate has hands-on demeanor, reliability, and flexibility for standby duties.

Qualifications

• Education: SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience: Prior experience in administrative support, hostel management, property management, or general operations is an added advantage.
• Licenses & Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license (Class D) and be comfortable with hands-on, outdoor errands and physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dependable contact to respond promptly to ad-hoc, urgent hostel or operational matters when required.

• Supplies & Inventory:Arrange the procurement of groceries, household supplies, and manage regular stock replenishment.
• Operations & Logistics:Coordinate staff transportation, perform outdoor purchasing errands, and handle general operational support.
• Emergency Response:Act as a dependable contact to respond promptly to ad-hoc, urgent hostel or operational matters when required.

Requirements

Benefits

• Standby & OT Allowance:Additional RM500 monthly standby/OT allowance on top of basic salary.
