Job summary

Monkeys Canopy Resort in Malaysia is seeking a housekeeping associate to clean and service guest rooms and public areas, ensuring hotel standards are met.

You will handle bed making, linen replacement, restocking guest amenities, and report maintenance issues. Fresh candidates are encouraged; basic Malay or English communication required; must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage.

• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb stairs for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Restock housekeeping trolleys with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with resort procedures.
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Job description

Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards;

Make beds, replace linens, towels, and replenish guest amenities;

Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas;

Collect and dispose of rubbish and transport used linens to designated areas;

Restock housekeeping trolleys with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies;

Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards to the supervisor;

Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests;

Handle lost and found items in accordance with resort procedures;

Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals;

Able to lift, carry, push, and pull housekeeping equipment, furniture, linen carts, and other heavy items as required;

Comply with hotel SOPs, hygiene, and workplace safety standards;

Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirement
