Job summary

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Manager to partner with the Director of Sales in leading all sales activities and events for a 4*/5* hotel. You will drive direct and corporate sales, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to the annual sales plan and budget.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in hotel sales, hospitality qualifications, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to exceed revenue targets and guest experience expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Sales experience in 4* or 5* Hotel property.
• Hospitality degree or equivalent.
• Excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales.
• Proven ability to creating new business opportunities.
• Assertive, professional and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Sales in management of all sales activities and events.
• Manage day to day sales activities and build relationships with team members.
• Develop and maintain contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, travel agents, tour operators, and corporate accounts.
• Sell all facets of the hotel and negotiate optimum rates within guidelines.
• Monitor local competitors and provide market research and intelligence.
