Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Sales & Marketing professional to lead all sales activities and events, aligning with the Annual Revenue Plan and working closely with the Revenue team. You will guide the sales team, produce forecasts, and nurture key client relationships to secure group and convention business.

The role emphasizes market analysis, cross‑functional collaboration, and delivering profitability through strategic sales execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years related experience, including 2 years in Sales & Marketing/Events Operations with management experience.
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and trends.
• Proficiency in local language; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all sales activities and events, including direct sales, sales solicitation, and PR.
• Collaborate with Executive Committee and Revenue team to implement the Annual Revenue Plan.
• Provide direction and monitor performance to meet Revenue Plan goals.
• Produce monthly reports and sales forecasts for markets and trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients for group/convention business.
