Job summary

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our Commercial team in Kuala Lumpur. You will develop relationships, target corporate, leisure and events segments, and collaborate with Revenue Management, Rooms and F&B to maximize hotel revenue.

The role requires you to identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and lead consultative sales efforts in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' sales experience for Sales Executive or 4–6 years' hotel sales experience for Sales Manager, preferably with an international hotel brand.
• Experience in Corporate, MICE, Government, Travel Trade or Wholesale segments is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of hotel sales, market segmentation and revenue generation, with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Generate business opportunities and drive revenue across corporate, leisure, meetings, events and group segments.
• Develop strong client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to maximize hotel revenue.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations and site inspections.
• Prepare quotations, contracts, reports and forecasts with accurate records of sales activities.
