Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to lead our hotel operations in Malaysia. You will partner with senior management to drive service excellence, optimize processes, and deliver strong business results across departments.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Hospitality/Hotel Management or related field, with 5–8 years in hospitality and 2–3 years in a managerial capacity. Strong leadership and a customer‑oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant hotel/hospitality experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, SOPs, and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth business performance.
• Coordinate and monitor Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and other departments.
• Ensure consistent SOPs, service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Drive guest satisfaction and service excellence via feedback and service recovery.
• Collaborate with department heads to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assist the General Manager in implementing business strategies and achieving objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the hotel team; manage manpower planning, scheduling, training, and performance.
