Job summary

APG Geotechnics Sdn. Bhd. seeks a skilled M&E Coordinator to lead installation coordination for hospital projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and schedules.

You will liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to drive smooth execution. Responsibilities include reviewing M&E shop drawings, material approvals, and as-built docs; coordinating with architectural, civil, and structural teams to prevent clashes; monitoring site progress, inspections, and handover of hospital M&E

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of M&E coordination experience in hospital projects.
• Experience coordinating hospital M&E systems including medical gas, ACMV, ICU, and power systems.
• Familiar with M&E drawings, shop drawings, specs, and site coordination procedures.
• Able to liaise with consultants, contractors, and project management teams.
• Knowledge of Malaysian standards, authority requirements, and healthcare facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise M&E installation works for hospital projects to ensure compliance with drawings and schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and project team for smooth execution.
• Review M&E shop drawings, technical submissions, material approvals and as-built drawings.
• Ensure M&E services coordination with architectural, civil, and structural works to avoid clashes.
• Monitor installation, inspections, defects, and corrective actions for timely completion.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of hospital M&E systems.
• Attend site coordination meetings and prepare progress/inspection records and handover docs.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian standards, authority requirements, occupational safety, and QA procedures.
