Job summary

Giant Leap Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified M&E coordinator to interpret drawings and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on site in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will ensure M&E installations meet specifications and progress according to schedule.

The role requires strong knowledge of M&E shop drawings, testing, and handover documentation, with a focus on safety and quality across projects in Danga Bay and Forest City.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interpret M&E drawings and ensure alignment with architectural/structural work.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants and subcontractors to resolve drawing issues.
• Experience with M&E shop drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Familiar with M&E pre-commissioning, testing, and handover documentation.
• Strong understanding of project timelines and M&E milestones.
• Able to coordinate embedment works and site interfaces prior to concreting.

Responsibilities

• Read, review, and interpret M&E drawings, SLDs, and combined services drawings.
• Identify discrepancies, clashes, or coordination issues between architectural, structural, and M&E services.
• Collaborate with consultants and subcontractors to resolve technical drawing issues.
• Ensure updated as-built drawings reflect actual installations and approved modifications.
• Verify handover documents and testing certificates for compliance.
