Job summary

Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an M&E Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and monitor all M&E works on site from installation through testing and commissioning. You will ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and the project program, working closely with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E experience on construction/infrastructure projects.
• Able to read and coordinate M&E drawings, including single-line electrical drawings.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor M&E planning, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning on site.
• Review M&E drawings and technical documents; resolve discrepancies with Project Manager and consultants.
• Prepare or coordinate M&E coordination and shop drawings with latest revisions.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to plan sequences and minimize clashes.
• Track M&E progress against the project program and report delays or constraints.
• Ensure M&E materials, equipment and installations comply with submissions and specs.
• Coordinate site inspections, testing and commissioning and document test results and approvals.
• Support QESH procedures and report non-conforming work and environmental concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and update as-built drawings and handover documents.
• Coordinate delivery, storage and availability of M&E materials and equipment, monitor workmanship.
