Job summary

PLB Engineering Berhad is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to coordinate and monitor M&E works at construction sites. You will liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities include reviewing M&E drawings and specifications, coordinating with architectural/structural works to avoid clashes, and monitoring progress, quality and safety compliance for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting M&E drawings.
• Strong coordination with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor M&E works at construction sites.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate M&E works with architectural and structural works to avoid clashes and delays.
• Monitor site progress, quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate resolution of technical and site issues.
• Assist in preparing project reports, documentation and progress updates.
• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements and project schedules.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of M&E installations.
