Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) seeks an experienced Capability Development Leader to oversee learning portfolios, curriculum management and workforce development across Asia Pacific.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, design scalable learning solutions, and drive AI-enabled learning initiatives while maintaining governance, dashboards and analytics to support leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in capability development, learning and development, or programme management.
• Experience managing learning portfolios and curriculum reviews.
• Strong understanding of capability development principles and lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical learning solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and SMEs.
• Analytical thinking, data analysis, dashboards and reporting.
• Excellent written communication and facilitation skills.
• Digital fluency with Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Ability to operate independently, ownership and manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the Faculty Lead in managing assigned technical and business capability portfolios.
• Conduct curriculum reviews and recommend enhancements.
• Align programs with business needs and future workforce priorities across Asia Pacific.
• Develop capability strategies, proposals, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external learning providers to design scalable solutions.
• Support AI literacy and digital productivity initiatives.
• Maintain governance, reporting, dashboards and portfolio performance tracking.
• Drive process improvement and adoption of digital solutions.
• Coordinate program implementation and stakeholder communications across regions.
• Design and facilitate learning interventions across classroom, virtual, blended formats.
